M6 motorway exit to Baja ~20 km away. The main spots are at Petőfi Island fishing base and beneath the railway bridge.

A major fishing gateway on the southern Hungarian stretch of the Danube. Deep river with strong current. Catfish, pikeperch, barbel, asp, and carp. The oxbow lakes near Báta and Dunaszekcső are also excellent spinning spots.
